Rajah Inn Restaurant Pte Ltd, the company behind this mini-steamboat restaurant was incorporated in the year 1982. Her very first home was situated at Golden Mile Complex along Beach Road. (1982 - 1992)

Back then, Rajah Inn had been focusing on building its name in the tourist market especially to the Japanese. Within 5 years, she had grown to be the leading restaurant in the tourist market, with dorminant market share of the visitors from several countries like Japan, China, Indonesia & Korea etc.

During the course of her 25 years history, Rajah Inn had moved its location several times. Among them was Regalis Court. During her 6 years term there, Rajah Inn saw the potential of the local walk in market since the location then was near to Orchard Road. Breaking into the local walk in market had indeed brought her name to greater heights.

That was when The Rajah Inn brand of indonesian style inspired steamboat was born.

In the year 2004, Rajah Inn moved to her current home at Tiong Bahru Plaza & within 2 years during her stay there, The Rajah Inn had grown to be a household name in the vicinity of Tiong Bahru Estate.
